The ICR Facility is providing tailor-made technical assistance to selected Development Finance Institutions. The banks can choose the topics of the support based on their priorities.
Description
The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development is the financial arm of the Economic Community of West African States and its 15 member states: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
EBID has chosen to work on:
- Training and capacity building in cross-cutting needs (leadership and change management, results-based management)
- Support in terms of knowledge management within the Bank
- Capacity building on several technical topics (for instance procurement, trade finance...)
