Single window for trade facilitation for the Commonwealth of Dominica
Objective
The ICR Facility supports the government of the Commonwealth of Dominica, particularly the National Trade Facilitation Task Force, to advance the implementation of the Single Window for import, export and transit operations.
Description
The technical assistance includes reviewing a drafted plan for existing gaps, by reviewing surrounding regulations and proposing needed reforms regarding these sectors, and involving relevant private and public sector stakeholders in the implementation. Based on that, a proposal on a single payment mechanism can be made.
Results
The collaboration will assure an improved implementation plan and actual implementation of the Single Window for the selected sectors, based on an agreed upon single payment mechanism delivered by the intervention. Evidence-based recommendations on necessary reforms to enable implementation to be effective and sustainable are also delivered.
