Event Announcement:
GENDER TRAINING FOR DEVELOPMENT FINANCE INSTITUTIONS

This training will be a self-paced online modular training directed to Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) staff from all levels (management as well as technical and operational staff). 

It will be divided in the following modules:

1. What is the business case for gender finance?
2. Introducing gender finance step by step
3. From gender analysis to an impactful gender policy

The training will cover the following topics:

-     Why promoting gender responsive finance within DFIs is important in ACP countries

-     Introduction on key gender finance concepts and topics

-     Strategies to promote gender finance institutionally: developing a gender roadmap, building gender support systems such as a gender desk within DFIs, and reinforcing internal capacity on gender

-     Strategies to promote gender finance in client facing activities: gender-responsive products and services, Gender-responsive communication and marketing, Gender-responsive monitoring and evaluation

-     Case study (ies)

This training is an opportunity to introduce key topics, build an understanding of success factors, and introduce diverse approaches that are working well for African, Caribbean and Pacific DFIs.
