You’re Invited to the 5th ICR Facility DFI Exchange Group on Alternative Collateral! 

 

Join us for an engaging peer learning experience focused on Alternative (to) Collateral for Development Finance Institutions (DFIs). This DFI Exchange Group will provide valuable insights, technical guidance, and real-world examples from DFIs on key aspects of alternative (to) collateral.

Session overview

Featuring the experience from two featured DFIs (to be confirmed), the session aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the use of alternative (to) collateral by presenting the ICR Facility’s newest upcoming study on How DFIs in ACP Countries Use Alternative Collateral: Trends and Impact on Access to Finance for Women-Owned SMEs 

 

This includes:  

  • Overview of alternative forms of collateral and alternatives to collateral: what can be done by DFIs and what has worked 
  • Presentation of the best practices and showcasing of successful examples 
  • Practical guidance on designing and implementing alternative forms of collateral.  

 

The session will feature interactive discussions, presentations, and practical examples shared by DFIs, highlighting their experiences, lessons learned, and impactful strategies in these critical areas.
