Objective:
The objective of the intervention is to develop the Kava National Strategy Plan with a focus on exports and sustainability for Tonga.
Description:
The technical assistance being provided include
1. An assessment of the opportunities and challenges for the Kava sector, locally and internationally; and preparation of a strategic analysis in consultation with stakeholders
2. A gender and youth gap analysis to identify any differences between women and men’s as well as young people’s participation along the Kava value chain
3. Preparation of the Kava National Strategic Plan and Execution Action Plan
