A new industrial policy for Eswatini
Objective
The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade of Eswatini seeks to formulate an evidence-based Industrial Policy for the country to improve the investment climate for Eswatini and to attract quality Foreign Direct Investment. Moreover, the Department envisions an Industrial Policy which will be more inclusive, creates better quality jobs and ensures that livelihoods of women and the youths are significantly improved.
Description
ICR Facility supports the Ministry in developing an industrial policy. The policy should be evidencebased and developed in a participatory and inclusive manner by consulting with relevant stakeholders, including groups representing women-led businesses.
